Ingredients: 390g Pork Chop; 1 whole onion (sliced); 5 cloves garlic (crushed); 3 tbsp soy sauce; 1 tbsp oyster sauce; 1 tbsp lemon juice (or calamansi juice); 1/2 tsp ground black pepper; 1/4 tsp MSG (or 1 tsp sugar)

Filipino-style pork steak (Bistek) tenderly marinated in soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and onions.

Method

Combine pork chops, onion, crushed garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, lemon juice, black pepper, and MSG (or sugar) in a bowl.
Marinate everything together for 15-20 minutes.
Sear pork chops in a pan over medium heat until browned on both sides.
Pour in the remaining marinade sauce and onions, simmering until cooked through.
Serve hot with rice.
